The Briarwood Cottages, in pewter gray, are a duplex of two beautiful BRAND NEW Efficiency Cottages located in a separate building by The Banner Elk Inn, Owned by the Inn and have a distant view of Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, just 2 miles away. Very similar to the New Addition (of the Inn) in design and style, each cottage offers lots of Light, Palladian windows, Cathedral Ceilings, original European antique Stain Glass Windows, King size bed, fully equipped Kitchen with cooking stove/microwave, gas log Fireplace, full private bath with Deep Whirlpool tub, standup and hand held showers, beautifully furnished dining and sitting areas, cable TV & VCR.  This building will be handicapped accessible.  Each cottage is for two people, but an Extra Room with trundle bed and half bath can be made available for an extra person; the extra room is privatized with hotel-design sound proofed firewall DOUBLE doors on either side.  This facility is non-smoking.  Breakfast at the Inn (Saturday and Sunday mornings) and use of the common cozy areas of the Inn such as use of the coffee room/parlor/side porch and gardens, are included.  Weekly rates are available; ask about our Pet Policy. Rates: $150 - $175 per night, extra charge for the extra room with an additional person Weekly: $750 - $850
Cottage A: The Edwardian Sleep on a top of the line King mattress in an scrolled Iron-Art old world styled bed, The Marseilles, crafted by new world artisans, Elliot Designs of California; and wake to the beautiful colors of the sun shining through this exceptional English antique stained glass window, dated 1900-1910 during the reign of King Edward VII. Other furnishings include an antique dark oak armoire, and new soft surroundings in modern cushy armchair and deep purple sofa and acessories. Air Conditioned.

Cottage B: The French Country Provincial Accented in Blue and other soft colors, Cottage B is furnished with a Top of the line King size mattress, a modern Pine King Sleigh Bed, European antique pine armoire and tables, a leather loveseat, reading chair with footstool, stained glass windows and, when in season, fresh flowers from the garden.
